Change & refund policy

The ticket type decides what you may do afterwards — not the seat, not the route. It is printed on every stub.

Moving a ticket

  • Ticket types marked date changes allowed can move to another date the same departure runs.
  • Changes close a set number of hours before departure — the cutoff is on the stub, and on the ticket type when you book.
  • A move costs nothing and changes nothing about the fare. We give you the best free seat on the new date; change it afterwards if you like.
  • If your ticket type doesn’t allow a move, ask us anyway: it opens a support ticket and a person reads it.

Refunds

  • Only ticket types marked refundable can be refunded, and only before the cutoff.
  • You get the fare back, less this ticket’s share of any promo. Extra bag fees come back too.
  • The booking fee paid on each seat (₱25) is kept — it pays for the payment gateway and the booking itself.
  • The refund is a new row in our ledger naming the original sale. Sales are never rewritten, so your receipt still shows what you paid.

Changing seats

Any live ticket can change seat on the same departure, right up to the ticket type’s cutoff. No money moves.

If the operator cancels

You get everything you paid back, and a message on this site. Notices from operators show up in your messages.

Discount claims

Senior, PWD and student claims are captured when you book and checked by the Mercurie team afterwards. The fare only changes once a claim is approved — so what you pay at checkout is the full fare, and an approved claim comes back to you as an adjustment.

This is a demonstration build: payments, messages and refunds are simulated.
